If you’re coming to Kuala Lumpur, chances are you will pass through KL Sentral.
The KL Sentral offers connection between the airport (KLIA or KLIA2) to other places that tourists usually stay at, such as Chinatown, KLCC or Bukit Bintang.
Chinatown and KLCC, located at Pasar Seni and KLCC stations respectively, are connected via the LRT metro line. Bukit Bintang is connected via the MRT metro line.
Admittedly, KL Sentral can be a pretty confusing place with so many possibilities for metro lines alone. Compounding the confusion are the multitude of signs showing the directions to other connection possibilities such as the taxis, airport buses, KLIA Transit and KLIA Ekspres (Is there even a difference between the two???!!!! Yes, there is.). For example, one common question that tourists have is: To get to the airport, KLIA or KLIA2, should I take the KLIA Ekspres/KLIA Transit or the AirAsia bus?
In this video, I explain to you the different public transportation connections from KL Sentral . At the time of making this video, the MRT line was not launched yet, so it was not covered in this video. FYI, the MRT station that’s connected to KL Sentral is the Muzium Negara station, which is linked to KL Sentral by a walkway.
I hope this video helps you navigate KL Sentral!
